Tracy-Lynne has been practising exclusively in family law since she began her articles of clerkship in 2000. Since that time she has had extensive experience in all areas of family law including difficult children and property matters. She has participated in many mediations and arbitrations.
She has worked as a tutor at QUT and is a mentor in the QUT mentor program. She is currently completing her Master of Laws.
In March 2015 Tracy-Lynne completed training to become an Arbitrator and is now also a member of aiflam – Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators.
Just prior to commencing her own practice in August 2009 she was appointed a Panel Member of the Redress Scheme of the Forde Inquiry, the Commission of Inquiry into the abuse of children in Queensland Institutions.
Tracy is one of the founding members of BLEATS (Brisbane Lawyers Educating and Advocating for Tougher Sentences), a group set up in 2007 with over 300 lawyers on the panel prosecuting matters on a pro bono basis for the RSPCA.
In addition to family law she practises animal law, is a published author in that field and her firm is the first to practise in this area in Australia.
