Katherine is a graduate of Huddersfield University in the UK (LLB (Hons)) and also the University of Queensland (Post Graduate).  Katherine was admitted to the Legal Profession in England and Wales in 2007 and Queensland in 2009. 

Since her admission in Queensland she has worked as a family lawyer dealing with all aspects but has developed a specific interest in children's issues and Child Protection matters. 

Katherine has been a member of the BLEATS fundraising committee since January 2010. 

Katherine aims to become more actively involved in the work of BLEATS and animal law. She also intends to further her knowledge of family law and working towards becoming appointed as a Separate Representative/Independent Children’s Lawyer.
